5 new business openings to know about this week in the Rocket City

This week, we learned about five new businesses in the Huntsville area that opened or announced their openings. The new business openings featured this week are eateries in either Huntsville and Madison, and most of those have not announced an exact opening date.
However, we want to make you aware of their pending arrivals! Here’s who opened or announced an opening this past week in the Huntsville area:
1. Big Spoon Creamery
One of the most-awaited new business openings here in town is Big Spoon Creamery, which opens soon at 201 Jefferson St N Suite J, Huntsville, AL 35801, taking the space previously occupied by Cookie Dough Magic.

2. John Smith Subs
We love a good sandwich shop, and a new one is about to open in Huntsville! Jon Smith Subs, which already has a location in Madison, plans to open a Huntsville location, but has not announced a date.

3. Barracuda Taco Stand
Did someone say tacos? I’m there! Barracuda Taco Stand — a Louisiana-based walk-up taco stand — announced a new location in Huntsville. This is one of the new business openings discussed at last week’s Huntsville City Council meeting.

4. First Watch
First Watch is a breakfast, brunch and lunch spot expected to open at Clift Farm. From pancakes and waffles to smoothies and tea, this spot has you covered for early meals.

5. 7 Brew Coffee
We love coffee here in Huntsville, which is why we were excited to learn about 7 Brew being on of the new business openings here in town! The Huntsville store is part of the brand’s expansion to the Tennessee Valley.
