5 Huntsville spots that will take care of the cooking this Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and we want to make sure that moms DON’T have to do the cooking.

Thankfully, some of your favorite Huntsville spots have come to the rescue. Read on for some Mother’s Day meal inspiration.

1. Main Street Cafe

Order a classic Southern brunch to pamper mom on Sunday morning. Here’s the menu Main Street Cafe is offering:

  • Quiche: Choose between spinach, artichoke + Swiss or bacon, green onions + Swiss
  • Spinach mandarin orange salad with sweet poppyseed dressing
  • Bread loaf or rolls: Options include pumpkin bread, lemon poppyseed bread + yeast rolls
  • Drink: Mimosas for 4 or 1 gallon of mint tea

The total cost is $62 and orders must be in by 8PM Thursday, May 5. Pickup is Saturday, May 7, 11AM-2PM, but other pickup times are available.

2. The Bottle

The Bottle in downtown Huntsville will be offering a special Mother’s Day a-la-carte menu on Sunday, May 8 from 11AM-3PM. The menu hasn’t been published yet, but you can expect nothing short of deliciousness from this spot known for upscale Southern cuisine with French flair.

3. Robyn’s Garden Winery

Brunch, entertainment and unlimited mimosas. (Yes, you read that right.) You’ll only find it at Robyn’s Garden Winery this Mother’s Day. Brunch starts at noon and lasts until 4PM. Head over for music by Charles + Tanya Harris and Buford, and don’t forget to grab something delicious to eat while you’re there. Tickets are $45 per person.

4. Humphrey’s Bar & Grill

How about a downtown brunch buffet? Head to Humphrey’s Bar & Grill for just that, plus entertainment from Microwave Dave. The buffet is $21.95 for adults and $14.95 for kids and will be served from 10AM-2PM. Here are the other specials you don’t want to miss:

  • 99 cent mimosas from 10-11AM
  • $3 mimosas until 2
  • $4 Bloody Marys

No reservation or ticket is required, but seating is first come first served, so don’t be late!

5. Urban Cookhouse

If eating in is more your style, let Urban Cookhouse do the heavy lifting. Call in your order by 6PM Saturday, May 7, and schedule your pickup between 10:30AM and 8PM on Mother’s Day. Here’s the menu:

Meat: Choose 1

  • Grilled chicken
  • Chipotle braised pork
  • Grilled ham & pineapple
  • Smoked turkey
  • Lime marinated steak (add $4 for family of 4 or $8 for family of 8)
  • Wood fired shrimp (add $5 for family of 4 or $10 for family of 8)

Sides: Choose 2

  • Rice pilaf
  • Fresh fruit
  • Broccoli salad
  • Hot cheddar pasta
  • Garden salad
  • Roasted veggies

Each meal also comes with an order of orange rolls and tea or strawberry lemonade. You can also add brown sugar brownies to your order, if you’re interested—just ask. Meals are $44 for 4 servings or $88 for 8.
