We realize spring is less than a month old, but now Is the time to start thinking about summer camp and activities for your children. Spots for these camps fill up quickly, so don’t miss out!

Huntsville Parks & Recreation Summer Day Camps

Huntsville Parks & Recreation offers a variety of summer camp programs at select centers during summer break. The camps are open to children, grades 1-6, who live within the City of Huntsville or attend Huntsville City Schools.

Summer Day Camps will be held June 2 -July 25 and registration begins April 14.

Huntsville Museum of Art Academy

The Huntsville Museum of Art’s Museum Academy programs are held in two classrooms on the Plaza Level in the Museum overlooking Big Spring Park. Schedules include classes for preschoolers through adults.

Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy Camps

Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy has all new summer camp programs offering Full-Day and Half-Day camps — as well as Performance Showcases.

Summer camp offerings include:

  • Advanced Musical Theatre Showcases
  • Young Musical Theatre Showcases
  • Teen Acting Showcases
  • Tech Camps
  • Half-day Camps

Rocket City Trash Pandas Camp

This is an instructional baseball camp lead by Trash Pandas players. Stations will include infield/outfield drills, batting cages, pitching, and more. Kids will get to see and experience our facility here at Toyota Field. 

Sessions are June 5-6 and June 19-20.

Parents must register their campers by May 17. Check the Trash Pandas website for more info!

Randolph Summer Programs

Randolph Summer Programs are open to all students looking for academic enrichment, unique experiences and — of course — tons of fun. Taught by Randolph faculty, staff and coaches, these camps welcome the general public—students do not need to attend Randolph to participate.
