Questions?

Be patient. There are lots of neighborhood streets that need repaving. (Michael Seale/Hville Blast)

Resurfacing projects are chosen based on a rating system, while streets are evaluated as part of a biannual rating system. When a street’s rating exceeds a certain threshold, the City vets it for resurfacing.

“These projects are something everyone can support because they make quality of life better for all citizens. Street resurfacing not only improves travel for drivers, but it also enhances pedestrian safety within our residential areas.”

Public Works Director Chris McNeese

Questions regarding these repaving projects can be answered by calling The Public Works office at 256-883-3944.
