Mardi Gras season is in full swing, and it may have some Huntsville locals searching for a taste of New Orleans.

Luckily, there are plenty of spots around town where you can get your hands on an authentic, New Orleans-style king cake. Here’s what we found:

1. Edgar’s

You may know Edgar’s for their infamous strawberry cake, but did you know they offer authentic, New Orleans-style king cakes during the Mardi Gras season? Choose from classic cream cheese filling, strawberry, or pecan praline.

Sizes available include:

  • full-size pecan, cream cheese or strawberry filled: $35
  • full-size traditional (no filling): $30
  • mini: $17
  • single slice: $4.25
