We are almost halfway through March, believe it or not, so now is as good a time as any to look at April here in the Rocket City to find out what’s going on.

There are plenty of cool events in Huntsville to check out next month, and here are some examples:

1. Huntsville Havoc hockey

The Huntsville Havoc’s season comes to a close in April, with their last home game of the regular season set for April 5.

2. Lynyrd Skynyrd + ZZ Top

These two legendary bands need no introduction, but it is worth mentioning that they will both be here at the Von Braun Center in April.

3. Rocket City Trash Pandas

The Rocket City Trash Pandas are ready for the 2024 season, which begins in April. The first homestand of the season is against Birmingham April 9-14.

4. HBG Spring Plant Sale

Spring is in full swing in April, and the Huntsville Botanical Garden is hosting its annual Spring Plant Sale to get your garden going this year!

5. Spring Fashion Soiree

The Huntsville Ballet Guild’s annual Spring Fashion Soiree is at Stovehouse this year, and should be a fun and exciting event as always!

6. Huntsville Comic + Pop Culture Expo

The 2024 Comic & Pop Culture Expo is a family-friendly 3-day event in the heart of beautiful downtown Huntsville, and a portion of all Expo proceeds benefit “Kids to Love” (a North Alabama charity meeting the needs of local foster children).

7. Huntsville City FC

The Huntsville City FC is ready for their second season after a successful inaugural campaign last year. Catch two home games in April at Joe Davis Stadium.
