We are nearing the last weeks of August — believe it or not — so now would be a good time to look ahead to September and find out what’s happening in and around Huntsville.

As we told you earlier this week, September is Huntsville Music Month and includes a bevy of cool live music events all over the city. But there are some more September events to check out in the Huntsville area:

Oktoberfest 2023 at Straight to Ale – Sept. 9

One of the September events I will not miss is happening at Straight to Ale. (Jacob Blankenship/Hville Blast)

Join Straight to Ale for Oktoberfest 2023, with brats and brews all day. Stick around for the Maker’s Market and rabbit adoption event with Huntsville House Rabbit Rescue. DiVrgence will be on site with their 3D gaming truck so you can check out their offering of 3D games. And in the Speakeasy they’ll have DJ CatLo on the decks. Then wander into the Lipz Lounge karaoke bar to sign up to sing your favorite song.

Rocket City Fair – Sept. 14-23
