Next Tuesday is Valentine’s Day (already!), which means it’s time for strawberries and chocolate—or any variation of the two!
If you’re looking for the perfect treat to give your Valentine, you’re sure to find something in this list. Here’s some of our favorite Valentine’s Day treats in Huntsville.
1. Heart Cookies from The Moon Bakeshop
These vanilla-almond sugar cookies are decorated with a beautifully marbled icing. The pink, purple and red hues are all swirled together and topped with tiny sprinkles for a cookie that’s as cute as it is tasty. They’re available at The Moon through Valentine’s Day, and you can also give them a call to order a large batch.

2. Box of Chocolates from Pizzelle’s Confections
Pizzelle’s is the first place that comes to mind when you combine “Huntsville” and “chocolate.” They have so many handcrafted chocolates to choose from so that you can build the perfect box for your Valentine. Our recommendation? Include the February special, the Guilty Pleasure, which features a passionfruit white chocolate ganache and a strawberry pate de fruit.

3. Valentine’s Dessert Box from Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro
If you’re looking to go for a classic—like chocolate strawberries—but with something a little extra, Mason Dixon is the way to go. Their Valentine’s Dessert Box comes with 4 chocolate strawberries, 2 sugar cookies, 4 chocolate-raspberry truffles and 4 macarons.

4. Anything from The Chocolate Gallery
The Chocolate Gallery in south Huntsville is a one-stop-shop for anything and everything chocolate. If you’re wanting top-notch chocolate strawberries, they’ll have those available February 11-14, and you’ll want to be sure to get your pre-order in by February 10.

5. Chocolate Cherry Sourdough from Canadian Bakin’
Here’s something that’s out-of-the-box but keeps with the chocolate theme. Canadian Bakin’ is baking up some specialty loaves for Valentine’s Day—Chocolate Cherry Sourdough. Pre-orders are already closed, but they’ll have 5 available loaves each day in the shop February 8-12.

6. Love Potion from Regale Cupcakery
Regale Cupcakery is always creating festive flavors for every occasion—including Valentine’s Day. The Love Potion cupcake is a white chocolate cake with mini chocolate chips in it, topped with a white chocolate buttercream, a raspberry coulis and chocolate ganache.

7. The Valentine’s Menu at Little Dipper Bakery & Cafe
We couldn’t choose just one of the Little Dipper’s Valentine’s specials, so let’s just take a look at the whole menu! They’ve got cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, sugar cookies and a red velvet cookie platter. Be sure to get your order in quick—the window closes on February 7.
