There are several new businesses in the Huntsville area, two of which are now open. From a new cigar lounge and furniture store to an upcoming baby boutique, the Rocket City has many exciting things in store.

1. Studio 16 Cigar Lounge
Studio 16 Cigar Lounge has opened in Athens, described as a community hub with regular events, tastings and educational sessions. They have a walk-in humidor, a kitchen and specialty cocktails, providing you with the ultimate experience.

2. Sharalee’s Teak Boutique

3. Everleigh Elaine Baby + Children’s Boutique
Lauren Kenzie, a handmade jewelry store located in Stovehouse, has a sister store called Everleigh Elaine Baby & Children’s Boutique — and it’s finally opening this Saturday, July 27! You’ll find everything from cute clothes to stuffed animals and more at this new shop.

4. Cinnaholic
Cinnaholic’s gourmet cinnamon rolls are finally coming to Alabama, their first location being in Clift Farm. Stop by during their grand opening on Aug. 2 for $2 cinnamon rolls all day!

5. Rocket Row (newly renovated)
While Rocket Row isn’t a new business, its recent renovation is definitely something to be excited about. Extensive landscaping, repainting and brand new structures have given Rocket Row a well-deserved glow up. The park will be open to the public early this August.

6. B3 Event Center
B3 Event Center is opening in Huntsville later this August, and they’re kicking off with a fun grand opening celebration. There will be drinks, a photo booth, giveaways and more.

7. Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen + Bar
Tupelo Honey’s delicious Southern cuisine is opening its first Alabama location in MidCity this year. They are known for their scratch-made Southern food and tasty biscuits.

8. Hattie B’s Hot Chicken
You read that right, Hattie B’s is coming to Huntsville, and it will be located in the upcoming mixed-use development by Joe Davis Stadium called Stadium Commons. Soon, you’ll no longer have to drive out to Birmingham or Nashville for their astonishing hot chicken — it will be right here in the Rocket City.
