A destination for all things Lego bricks, this new 2,379-square-foot store features sets and immersive experiences for builders of all ages and passions, plus access to guidance from Brick Specialists and exclusive in-store offerings.

So, why Huntsville? Well, when you consider that the Rocket City has more engineers per capita than any city in the country, it makes sense, a point that was reiterated by store management.

As for the long line of customers waiting to get in the store Friday morning, Lego Store officials said this was expected and the staff planned for it. accordingly

Lego has hired more than 30 employees to operate the new store, and officials anticipate how busy the store will be, especially in the first several weeks here.

Some of the store’s features:

  • Insiders Rewards Program
  • Pick & Build Wall
  • Build a Minifigure
  • Demonstration table
  • Gift cards accepted
  • LEGO.com returns accepted
  • Insiders Early Access available
