Alabama’s first Parlor Doughnuts location to open at Huntsville’s Campus No. 805—Everything you need to know

Doughnut lovers, rejoice! Evansville, Indiana-based Parlor Doughnuts has announced it’ll be bringing its first Alabama location right here to Huntsville.

Parlor’s goal is to “efficiently deliver a superior product, at a moderate price, with exceptional service, in a comfortable setting.” Here’s what else you need to know about the craft doughnut and coffee shop:

Doughnuts for everyone

Parlor Doughnuts offers a unique take on the classic pastry. The shop’s specialty is the “layered doughnut,” a croissant-like doughnut that is different from classic cake and yeast varieties.

Plus, we’ve got good news for our gluten-free, vegan and keto friends: Parlor offers special selections for all of you as well. Enjoy doughnuts, muffins, acai bowls, breakfast tacos and more that fit within your dietary restrictions—and don’t forget to grab a Doggie Doughnut for your four-legged friend, too.

Coffee, too

Parlor Doughnuts was a coffee shop, Proper Coffee, before it was a doughnut spot. That means you’ll find a menu full of consciously crafted coffees, both hot and iced, to suit your tastes. Tea lovers, they’ve got matcha and chai, too.

Our top menu choices

There are few things I love more than browsing the menu of a new spot…especially when that menu includes fresh pastries and unique craft coffees.

Here’s what I would order in each category of the Parlor Doughnuts menu:

• Doughnuts: I’m going for the Strawberry Shortcake.
• Coffee: One Iced Mayan Mocha for me, please.
• Juice + Kombucha: Fresh Pineapple Lemon Mint juice sounds like the perfect antidote to this summer heat.
