3 amazing holiday light shows to enjoy in Huntsville
Reading time: 2 minutes
Now that Halloween has ended, the holiday season is officially upon us. Turkey trots and “Friendsgiving” events have started to creep into our calendars, but there’s nothing our team is more excited for than holiday lights.
Check out the three best holiday light shows you can see in Huntsville this year:
1. Galaxy of Lights at the Huntsville Botanical Garden
The Galaxy of Lights is known across the Tennessee Valley for its incredible light displays. Plus, the Huntsville Botanical Garden is nominated for a national award that selects best botanical garden light shows across the nation. If that doesn’t convince you to check out the Galaxy of Lights, I don’t know what will.
This light show has walking days, driving days and dog walking nights so your furry friends can enjoy the festivities too. Adult tickets cost $20, children’s tickets (ages 3-15) cost $12 and children 2-years-old and under get in for free for non-members of the Botanical Garden.

2. The Rocket City Christmas Light Show at Toyota Field
We posted a sneak peak of this light show on our Instagram stories the other day, and they look fantastic. Take exit 10 on I-565 if you want to check them out from the road.
This drive through light show is synchronized to music on 95.5FM, and this year’s theme is “Santa’s Favorite Tales.” The 1.5 mile drive costs $30 per car and lasts from 5PM-9PM nightly.

This free event is the 14th annual “Lights Up!” at Bridge Street. Local band Big Daddy Kingfish will play live and Victorian carolers will sing. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make special appearances as they light a 45-foot Christmas tree to celebrate the holiday season in Huntsville.
