Can you believe 2024 is drawing to a close? Neither can we!

We felt, given the overwhelming number of incredible restaurants we discovered in Huntsville this year, that it would be appropriate to highlight the best of the best.

To see what made our roundup for this year’s best bites, read below:

Dashu Japanese Cuisine & Bar

best bites
Since opening, Dashu has remained one of the best bites for Japanese cuisine. (Michael Seale / Hville Blast)

Dashu Japanese Cuisine & Bar often comes up in our discussions concerning the best bites throughout Huntsville. In fact, it has appeared in numerous of our monthly roundups.

Check out what our team said about Dashu earlier this year:

“I had the pleasure of eating lunch at Dashu on Airport Road, where I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Box. The chicken alone was fabulous, but the egg roll, fried rice and salmon roll were a perfect complement.”

Honest Coffee Roasters

Honest Coffee Roasters is one of our favorite coffee destinations and one of the best bites in Huntsville for the following reasons:

“Not only was the latte beautiful but it was also so delicious. The sweet combination of chocolate and cinnamon was right up my alley.”

Lacey Muenstermann, Content Manager, Hville Blast

“The fig preserves, apple and brie on the toasted rye made for a pleasant crisp fall-esque bite. I’ve never tried the fig/apple combination before so I was skeptical, but my craving to find a new fall favorite won out (and I’m glad it did). It paired nicely with the ginger-orange fall special, which was subtle but a cozy, warm, well-flavored fall latte.”

Hound and Harvest

Hound and Harvest not only has beautiful outdoor seating but also features a diverse menu to satisfy any craving.

Here are some testimonials from our team as to why Hound and Harvest has been regularly featured as one of Huntsville’s best bites:

“It’s the Chilena Chicken Bowl — I love all the bright colors from the pickled cabbage, carrots, roasted broccoli and salsa chilena!”

Savannah Russo, Account Executive, Hville Blast

“The ingredients are fresh, it’s not too filling and goes great with a side of street corn!”

Michael Seale, Managing Content Producer, Hville Blast

The Poppy and Parliament

The Poppy and Parliament makes this year’s best bites due to its delectable English cuisine.

Hear what Lacey had to say about the Poppy and Parliament in July’s roundup below:

“I love going for brunch at The Poppy. I was in the mood for eggs, so I got the delicious English Breakfast with a creamy latte. My husband got Fish & Chips with a Guinness. Both meals were delicious!”

Lacey Muenstermann, Content Manager, Hville Blast

Tupelo Honey

best bites
Some of Tupelo Honey’s best offerings include the Spicy Chicken and Waffles, Mountain Morning Bowl and Avocado Toast. (Savannah Russo / Hville Blast)

Even though Tupelo Honey only opened this year, it is already making waves as one of the best bites in Huntsville.

Here’s what Savannah had to say about her experience:

“The mountain morning bowl and avocado toast were good, but the chicken and waffles were stellar. Crispy chicken with a spicy, sticky glaze and pillowy waffles were the perfect combination.”

Savannah Russo, Account Executive, Hville Blast
