Butter & Egg Diner, Cozy Cow earn 95+ health scores in December

The Madison County Health Department in December 2022 conducted inspections at more than 200 restaurants in the county. As a public service, Hville Blast reports monthly Madison County Health Department restaurant scores, featuring those eateries with health scores of 95 or better on their inspection (we excluded private eateries like school or business cafeterias).

Flight Plan Wine & Tapas, located at 2710-A Carl T. Jones Dr. in Huntsville, received a perfect score on their health inspection in December. The restaurant and bar has a fabulous brunch and offers an incredible selection of wines.
Butter & Egg Diner – 99
The Butter & Egg Diner is located at 878 Butter and Egg Rd. in Hazel Green. Not only do they serve up a delicious southern breakfast every morning, but they also have one of the best burgers in town!
The Cozy Cow – 98
The Cozy Cow, located at 100 Church St. in Downtown Huntsville, is one of the city’s most popular spots to get frozen treats and tasty sandwiches.
It also is in a prime location with great patio views of Big Spring Park!
