Cathedral Caverns is a beautiful and unique spot to camp here in Alabama. With a grand entrance that’s over 126 feet wide and home to some of the largest stalagmites globally, this campsite is sure to make a lasting impression.

4. Sasquatch Farm

I don’t know about you, but any family trip I had that crossed the state line was also the most memorable. We’re so lucky in Huntsville to live near the state line so we can experience the beautiful ecosystem in the Tennesse Valley, including the Sasquatch Farm. You’ll find many spacious RV sites and cozy primitive sites too.

5. Redstone Arsenal RV Park & Campground

If you’re looking for a military campground that has all the amenities a camper needs, Redstone Arsenal is the place to go. Those eligible to take advantage of this park include active duty, retirees and DOD civilians.

6. Ditto Landing

One of the most iconic spots to hand for college students and teens is also a hot spot for RV camping. Take a staycation with your family on the Tennesee River, it’s probably the most beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Be careful if you swim, the fish bite. 😉

7. US Space & Rocket Center RV Park
