*** CANCELED *** Foraging Hike at Hickory Cove

Due to forecasted rain and high winds, this event has been canceled. Please watch for future events — we hope to see you there!
(Moderate / about 2 hours / around 2 miles) Join forager Casey Lanier out at Hickory Cove this Saturday to seek out the edible plants and other species to be found in the forest as summer comes to a close and fall begins. The group will make several stops to discuss different plants and fungi.
A FEW NOTES: This hike is educational, so if you’re looking for a walk with no long stops to talk, it’s probably not what you’re looking for. The hike is scheduled to last 2 hours, but it may run long. This hike around the preserve is not intended for collection or consumption of species.
