Wicker Man 2025
Ravenwood Meadery presents: The 6th Annual Wicker Man
Location: East Lawn by the Water Tower, Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment
Cost: Free – All are welcome
Event Schedule
• 4:00 PM – Ceremonial face painting begins
• 6:00 PM – Wicker Man Ceremony: Release hardships, struggles, and burdens in a symbolic fire ceremony
Guests will be invited to write down anything they wish to release on paper and place it in a ceremonial box. The box will be carried in procession and burned within this year’s effigy: Yggdrasil, the World Tree.
About the Ceremony
Inspired by Viking Age and Celtic traditions, this is a community gathering, not a religious service. It is a time to honor nature, remember our ancestors, and lighten the burdens we carry together.
• Feel free to wear ceremonial garb or face paint
• Wear comfy, closed-toe shoes (it is a grass field)
