HSV’s new direct flights to NYC coming soon

Huntsville International Airport will begin direct flights to New York City in the spring of 2025. This much-awaited option comes on the heels of a record-breaking year at HSV that saw more passengers fly in and out of the airport than ever before.

Direct flights from HSV to LGA

The board of directors at the Port of Huntsville recently submitted an application for a $1 million grant aimed at launching nonstop air service from the Huntsville International Airport to the New York City market.

This has paid off, as direct flights to LaGuardia Airport in New York will begin in April. Here’s more info:

• Delta Air Lines will add the HSV-LGA route beginning April 14.
• The new route will operate daily in both directions.
• Passengers will fly on Bombardier CRJ-900 equipment with 76 seats including First Class.
• The first flight from LGA will arrive the evening of April 14 with departures from HSV beginning April 15.
