For the 11th year, Huntsville Restaurant Week (HRW) returns, celebrating the Huntsville/Madison county culinary scene from August 11-20. Last year, the month of August was subsequently established as Culinary Month, as the city’s impressive food scene grew beyond the celebratory capacity of one week.

More than 80 local eateries are participating in HRW this year, each serving special menu items and unique offers for the duration of the week. Here are five of our favorite restaurants participating in the celebration, as well as their special offers:

1. Domaine South

HRW Special: Provençal Tomato Tart — local heirloom tomato, sweet onions, gruyere and Bronze Star Farm herb salad

Domaine South, which won a Wine Spectator award this year, is known for its delicious selection of wines, entrées and charcuterie boards. Be sure to check out the rest of their menu here.

2. Honest Coffee Roasters

HRW Special: The Up & Up — lemon peppercorn coffee soda

I love coming to Honest Coffee Roasters in Madison — it’s a friendly atmosphere with amazing food. They also pull out all the stops when it comes to seasonal and special drinks, so I look forward to trying The Up & Up during Huntsville Restaurant Week. Check out their full menu here.

3. Prohibition Rooftop Bar + Grill

Prohibition is a great place to celebrate Huntsville Restaurant Week, especially if you have a taste for the Asian-inspired specials they’re serving up. You can browse the rest of their menu here.

4. The Brewers Cooperative

If you haven’t had a chance to try out The Brewers Cooperative at Stovehouse yet, now is the perfect chance. They have a tasty and savory menu that’s sure to fill you up, no matter what you choose to order.

You’ll want to head to Baker & Able if you’re looking for a beautiful view of Downtown Huntsville while sipping on top-notch cocktails. Better yet, if you visit during Huntsville Restaurant Week, you can get a taste of their special chicken wings. Check out their full cocktail and small bites menus here.

These are just five of our favorite restaurants in Huntsville/Madison county, so be sure to look over all the participating restaurants and get to celebrating!
