Get ready to eat some delicious wings. (Battle of the Buffalo)

Wondering where the wings at the grocery store flew to? They’re probably waiting for you at Huntsville’s biggest wing festival!

Last year, Battle of the Buffalo attracted 6,000 people from the Huntsville area and served over 10,000 pounds of wings. Local restaurants and amateur cooks squared off to see who could be crowned the champion of the Tennessee Valley.

This year, the event will boast wings from local restaurants and various vendors from the community. They’ll submit their delicious creations to a celebrity judging panel made up of key local figures. Make your way down to Big Spring Park to see who will take the crown for 2024.

There’s fun for the kids too. (Battle of the Buffalo)

And if 10,000 pounds of mouthwatering wings isn’t enough, what about epic live music, unique drink specials or kid-friendly games?

For the first time, Battle of the Buffalo is presenting signature drinks. After chowing down on some wings, swing by Pane e Vino to try out a signature event cocktail and a new Straight to Ale buffalo brew. The first 500 people to order a drink will receive free Battle of the Buffalo purple cups.

While you’re sipping on delicious drinks, you can also enjoy some great live music. Check out the artists performing at the event:

  • Season Ammons: This three-time Grammy-nominated artist will be taking the stage at Big Spring Park! She’s known for her fusion of Southern Rock, Funk, Soul and Texas Roadhouse Blues.
  • J. Michael Harter: This up-and-coming artist is keeping the Western in Country. His current single, “Cowboy to Blame”, is set to debut and stand as a true cowboy anthem.
  • Rob Hayes: He has an amazing country voice but did you know he’s also a famous actor? Hayes starred in the ABC hit series “Mistresses” and the Sundance cult-classic “John Dies at the End.”

And of course, we can’t forget the kids! Big Spring Park will be full of inflatables and fun games to keep your little ones happy and active.
