Enjoying the holidays at the park
In addition to Skating at the Park, Big Spring Park has its other annual holiday-themed event happening over the next several weeks.
Tinsel Trail kicks off Nov. 24, which is a display of live Christmas trees in Big Spring Park and runs through Dec. 31. More than 400 trees will decorate the park for the holiday season.
The event kicks off the Friday after Thanksgiving at 6PM for the lighting of the Mayor Battle’s Rocket City Tree. There will also be a special Holiday Art Walk featuring local vendors from 2PM – 8PM throughout the park, with food trucks serving tasty treats starting at 3PM.
