NEW: Black-owned affordable luxury beauty bar coming to Huntsville
Reading time: 2 minutes
Kaylah Joseph, founder of LAID Hair Care and a Huntsville local, is set to be the youngest CEO in retail partnership with Walmart. The brand is known for its conscious use of natural ingredients like aloe vera, jojoba oil, shea butter and tea tree oil to promote healthy hair.
Soon, you’ll be able to shop Kaylah’s affordable selection at the first ever LAID Beauty Bar at the front of the Walmart on Sparkman Drive.
This project has been in the works for 7 years
LAID Beauty Bar was born from Kaylah’s search for high-quality, affordable hair care that wasn’t based on harsh chemicals. The four-step Weightless Collection includes a shampoo, conditioner, an anti-itch scalp oil and a heat protectant spray.
“This has never been done before. There is literally not a single accessible, affordable, high-quality beauty retail experience located anywhere that focuses on combining clean beauty, human-centered tech, proven science and exceptional customer service to customers that look, work and create like me.”

The luxury beauty bar is set to open this fall
LAID Hair Care is Black woman-owned and is making waves in the hair care industry, even more so in this partnership with Walmart. The luxury beauty bar is still under construction, but you can keep up with Kaylah’s progress via the links below.
