Mo’Bay Beignet + Baytown Burger opening new location in Huntsville

We reported in 2023 on the announcement of Mobile-based Mo’Bay Beignet Co. opening a Huntsville location, and after some delay, the beloved burger and beignet spot plans to open this spring.
Here’s what we know:
Mo’Bay Beignet + Baytown Burger Co. opening soon
Mo’Bay Beignet Co. and their companion burger restaurant, Baytown Burger Co. had plans to open in Huntsville last spring. However, this spring will be the official opening for the popular Mobile business.
According to the company’s social media, the new spot will open at 1851 Jeff Rd Huntsville, AL 35806.
Chris and Stephanie Gothart are the franchise owners of Mo’Bay Beignet Co. Huntsville & Bay town Burger Co. Huntsville. The Gatharts are lifelong friends of the companies’ founder and Huntsville native, Jaclyn Robinson. Robinson started the business in Mobile in 2019.
Huntsville folks might have already sampled the delicious beignets from Mo’Bay from their food truck, which has been active around the Huntsville metro for a while now.
The stand-alone restaurant will offer the same items as the food truck and more.
