Bandito Burrito is a Huntsville staple and serves up some of the best burritos I have ever had. I am partial to the green bean burrito, but all of them on the menu are fantastic. And yes, I have tried them all.

Rosie’s/Little Rosie’s
You cannot talk burritos in Huntsville without mentioning Rosie’s (or Little Rosie’s). I love the spicy beef burrito the best, but the chicken burrito is a winner as well. Little Rosie’s is my usual spot for a quick bite, but for the dining experience, Rosie’s Cantina is awesome!

Phil Sandoval’s
Phil Sandoval’s has fantastic burritos, and luckily for folks here in the Huntsville area, there are two locations around town — one in Huntsville and one in Madison. I recommend the shredded pork burrito, by the way.

Taco Mama
I am a Birmingham native, so I remember the very first Taco Mama location opening in Crestline Village about a block away from my house. I fell in love with these burritos. So I absolutely love that there are multiple Taco Mama locations in the Huntsville area. I am partial to the Hippy Fisherman burrito, but they are all delicious and worth celebrating on National Burrito Day!

Charrito’s Bar + Grill
Located in the Village of Providence, Charrito’s Bar & Grill has a pretty cool atmosphere and great service, but also serves up a fabulous burrito. I am a big fan of the “Burrito Ay Charrito’s” with chicken. It has a bit of a kick to it!

El Palomino Taqueria
El Polomino was one of the first Mexican restaurants I visited when I moved to Huntsville, and it has been a regular stop for me ever since. I love the fajita burrito, which is my go-to at El Polomino, and a fitting way to celebrate National Burrito Day.

La Placita Mexican Grill
Madison has its share of great places to eat, and I will put La Placita up there with the best in town. As for burritos, my favorite on the La Placita menu is the Mega Burrito with grilled steak. But you really can’t go wrong with any of their menu items!

- Address: 401 Hughes Rd, Ste 4, Madison, AL, United States, 35758
