New WorldAtlas list names Athens one of Alabama’s best small towns to visit

Athens has been getting a good bit of attention lately, and an international publication has taken notice. WorldAtlas recently released its list of the Most Historic Small Towns in Alabama to Visit, and Athens made the list.

When mentioning Athens, the publication points to the city’s downtown area, its museums and historic homes throughout the city.
