One of the best Huntsville holiday traditions is back

The Tinsel Trail, a beloved holiday tradition, features hundreds of live Christmas trees with unique decorations crafted by local businesses, organizations, and families. It is back for the 13th year and better than ever. The trail is located in Downtown Huntsville’s Big Spring Park.

I remember visiting the trail when I was little and thought it was the most magical thing. This is an activity that all ages can enjoy, at any time of the day.

You can find over 400 beautifully decorated trees and enjoy ice skating in the park that will run through January 8.  Hours of operation for the rink (located in front of the Huntsville Museum of Art):

  • Mon. – Thurs. 4PM – 9PM
  • Fri. 4PM – 10PM
  • Sat. 10PM – 10PM
  • Sun. 12PM – 8PM
  • Merry Christmas Tinsel Tree trail at Big spring.

  • Cookie Monster tree at the Tinsel Tree Trail.
