Every week, we let you in on some of the new businesses that have just opened in and around Huntsville, meaning each month includes dozens of new members to our business community.

Here at the halfway point of 2025, we wanted to give a brief recap of some of the new businesses that have opened here in the Rocket City.

Restaurants/bars

We are always on the lookout for new places to eat. Thus far in 2025, we have not been disappointed. We have reported on a bevy of openings for new eateries in and around Huntsville. Such as:

While restaurants seem to create the most buzz among our readers, some of the most-anticipated openings this year have been for retail shops. These are among them:

The Huntsville area has already seen several new salons and fitness businesses open this year, including a nail bar on Whitesburg, a salon on Oakwood and a training facility on Highway 72.

Huntsville’s growing population necessitates a growing health care infrastructure. That’s why we are excited to see some of these new medical offices open here in the Rocket City this year:

In the last couple of years, we have seen multiple banks open branches (or in a couple of cases, new headquarters) here in the Huntsville area. Some of these are new branches of banks that already have a presence in the area, while others are new to the market.
