This past week saw a few more announcements made for businesses opening in the Huntsville area, continuing the trend of growth throughout the area.

With some food options and a new apartment complex opening, the Rocket City just keeps booming. Here’s what’s opening in and around the Rocket City:

Tupelo Honey

Tupelo Honey, an upscale-casual Southern restaurant, is known for its scratch-made food, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner — and it is opening a location in MidCity. The estimated opening date is sometime in the summer of 2024.

Starbucks at Hays Farm

We reported several weeks ago about multiple new Starbucks locations coming to the area, with the upcoming Hays Farm location among them. Well, construction is expected to begin in the next few weeks on the new location on Memorial Parkway.

The Dempsey Apartments

Construction has finished on the Dempsey Apartments in Madison. The new complex features three residential buildings with two ground-floor retail spaces totaling 5,000 square feet.

Each building has conditioned corridors and elevators and includes 483 surface parking spaces and 25 detached garages. The property offers studios, one- and two-bedroom units.
