Two of the Huntsville area’s pro sports teams are getting close to the end of their 2024 seasons, while another is close to beginning its new season.

The Rocket City Trash Pandas have only a couple of weeks left (and have finished their home schedule), while the Huntsville City FC is less than a month away from its final game of the season.

The Trash Pandas finished their home schedule this past weekend and will finish out the season on the road. They currently have a record of 26-37 for the second half, after finishing 33-35 in the first half — meaning a postseason appearance is now out of the picture.

Despite a less-than-stellar record, the Trash Pandas are among the Southern League leaders in attendance again this season.

The Huntsville City FC has four games remaining on the schedule, with only one of those at home, against Cincinnati Sept. 22. The HCFC season will end Oct. 6.

The Havoc will play their first home game at Propst Arena at the VBC Oct. 25 against Pensacola.

Tickets for the upcoming season are currently on sale.
