After 4th of July festivities have concluded, we have an entire weekend left for fun and entertainment. And here in the Rocket City this weekend, we have plenty to do over the next few days.

1. USA Table Tennis Championships
The USA Table Tennis Nationals will take over the Von Braun Center South Hall with more than 80 courts as all of the national champions will be crowned throughout the week.

2. Trash Pandas vs. Barons
Come out to Toyota Field Thursday through Saturday for the Trash Pandas’ series against the Birmingham Barons. Each game will include a fireworks display afterwards.

3. City Lights + Stars
Bring your chair, blanket and picnic to enjoy the evening of live music in Huntsville’s most scenic setting. Food trucks will be onsite and beer and wine are available for purchase.

4. Jackalope 4 Mile + 8 Mile Trail Run
This is the fourth in a series of trail runs through North Alabama’s nature preserves. All runners who sign up for the Jackalope 4 Mile & 8 Mile will receive a t-shirt and awesome finisher award.

8. Don ‘DC’ Curry at Stand Up Live

12. This Day in Dead
