There’s nothing more disappointing than being excited to head to your favorite restaurant and then realizing it’s closed—ugh. We’re here to make sure that doesn’t happen. Below, find 11 of our favorite Huntsville and Madison restaurants that are open on Mondays.
1. Moe’s Original BBQ
A barbecue joint founded by a few University of Alabama grads, Moe’s Original BBQ is one of my favorite spots for wings, potato salad and cornbread. With the recent opening of a brand new location in Town Madison, we now have three spots to get Moe’s in the Huntsville area.

2. Rosie’s Mexican Cantina
Rosie’s is a favorite in my hometown, Florence, and now in my new town, Huntsville. I have loved Rosie’s for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never ordered anything there that wasn’t delicious.

3. Grille on Main
Grille on Main was the spot my husband and I chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary last year, and the experience was perfect. Our anniversary falls on a Monday this year, so it’s a good thing the restaurant will be open for us to celebrate there again.

4. The Bottle
At The Bottle, you’ll find upscale French dining with a healthy dose of Southern hospitality. Menus change seasonally, so you know you’re always getting the freshest ingredients possible.

5. Kamado Ramen
Kamado Ramen now has two convenient locations in Huntsville—one at Stovehouse, and the other at MidCity. Choose from a long list of ramen options that even includes gluten-free noodles. Yum for everyone.

6. Purveyor
You can trust Purveyor to consistently provide delicious, high-quality food and drinks. They also provide sweet, savory and salty gift baskets, perfect for the wine connoisseur in your life.

7. The Poppy and Parliament
Craving a taste from across the pond? Try The Poppy and Parliament, an English pub right on the square in downtown Huntsville. We’ve heard that the fish and chips are worth the trip.

8. Pane e Vino Pizzeria
If you’re at Huntsville’s Big Spring Park or the Museum of Art, you should grab a slice from Pane e Vino. Eat indoors, or sit on the patio to get a view of the park.

9. Sea Salt
Sea Salt is one of Huntsville’s newest oyster and seafood bars with a twist: a wall of self-serve taps where you can find an assortment of unique craft beers. Sea Salt is a member of the Church Street Family of restaurants, which also includes Purveyor, Mazzara’s and several other local faves.

10. Phat Sammy’s
Ready for an island getaway? We can’t offer that, but we can tell you about Phat Sammy’s, a tropical-themed restaurant in downtown Huntsville serving up tiki cocktails and all kinds of beachy eats.

11. Revivalist
You don’t have to be a 106 Jefferson hotel guest to eat at its restaurant, Revivalist. This tasty spot occupies a historic building that once hosted a popular tavern. Now, they’re serving modern takes on European and American favorites.
