Huntsville is home to a lot of arcades, some big some small.

We’ve compiled a list of our favorite local arcades around town that you might be unfamiliar with.

StarLight Pinball Arcade

This arcade is a great affordable arcade that’s full of some of the most unique machines out there.

This arcade is all you can play, just one upfront fee and you’re good to go (that fee is only 5 dollars on Fridays).

The owner repairs all of the machines herself which includes retro games like Crazy Taxi, Dungeons and Dragons, Marvel vs Capcom and a few custom-made cabinet games like Fix-it Felix Jr.

Pints and Pixels

Pints & Pixels is a staple of Huntsville that was recently featured on our list of nerdy restaurants in Huntsville.

They have over 40 arcade machines and 40 beers on tap.

Most of the machines you’ll find here are classic, vintage and retro games.

Rocket City Arcade

DiVRgence is an arcade, unlike any others on this list. It’s a VR arcade.

Included in their arsenal of games is a 360º simulator, flight sims, FPS arenas and racing sims.

They host parties and events, and will even travel to you in their VR game truck.

Ronnie Raygun’s

This underground (literally) pinball arcade is stocked with a great lineup of machines.

You’ll find both new and vintage pinball machines here, some of our favorites include Game of Thrones, Foo Fighters, Deadpool, Godzilla and an old-school Star Wars machine.

This is a great addition to any trip to Campus #805.

At the Pier Arcade

If you have fond memories of going to an arcade at the mall when you were younger this is the arcade for you.

This arcade is located in Parkway Place Mall, which makes it a great place to take a break while you’re out shopping.

Most of the games you’ll find here are newer such as Flappy Bird and Let’s Make a Deal.
