2. Astronaut Chat
How often do you get the chance to chat with an actual astronaut? At the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, you’ll have the opportunity twice this July. Larry DeLucas and Hoot Gibson will each host Q&A sessions where you can learn all about what it’s like to live and work in space.

3. Hank Williams Jr. at the Orion
Create a new family tradition and bring all your rowdy friends to see country music legend Hank Williams Jr. next weekend at the brand-new Orion Amphitheater. Tickets start at around $40.

4. Low Country Boil at The View
What’s better than great food with an unbelievable view? I’m having a hard time thinking of a better way to spend a Friday evening. Burritt on the Mountain is hosting a Low Country Boil at The View in July complete with Alabama Gulf Shrimp, sweet treats like key lime tarts and peanut butter brownies, live music and a cash bar.

5. GHHS Community Day
The Greater Huntsville Humane Society is partnering with Rocket City Mobile Vet and Hippea Camper to host the third annual GHHS Community Day in honor of Lost Pet Prevention Month. The event will feature:
- King’s Community Kitchen Distribution Pet Wellness Clinic
- Chip-a-thon
- Pet adoptions

6. Hidden Gems Festival at The Camp
The Camp is hosting a free music festival with food and drink specials and live music all day long. Don’t miss the chance to see some great acts in one of the coolest spots in town.

7. Third Thursdays on Main
Head to Main Street in Madison on the third Thursday of the month for food trucks, vendors, specials at your favorite shops and more. Grab dinner at Old Black Bear or Main Street Cafe and enjoy some time with the Main Street Madison community.

8. Downtown Night Market
Downtown Huntsville, Inc. is partnering with MidCity and the UAH College of Business to host an after-hours market on Friday evenings! You can find it in Chandelier Alley. The event features food and beverages from Phat Sammy’s and art from your favorite local vendors.

9. Chris Stapleton at the Orion
Round off the month by heading to Chris Stapleton’s All American Road Show at the Orion Amphitheater. The Grammy-winning artist will be bringing along guests Elle King and Madeline Edwards for a show you don’t want to miss.
