Bookworms, tomorrow’s holiday was created with you in mind: August 9 is National Book Lovers’ Day! To celebrate, we’ve compiled a list of Huntsville bookstores you need to check out, from indie shops to spots where you can find your new favorite story secondhand.

Here’s where you should visit first:

1. Burnwater Books

Located in Studio 1039 at Lowe Mill, Burnwater Books carries a curated selection of fiction and nonfiction, with a special interest in poetry and philosophy.

2. The Snail on the Wall

4. 2nd & Charles

5. Friends of the Library Bookstores

The Friends of the Huntsville/Madison County Public Library operates three bookstores where you can find unique reads for a great price. Here’s where to find them:
