- Dirty Rain Revelers: Sept. 29, Stovehouse, 7PM. Don’t miss this free show featuring husband and wife duo Matthew and Melissa DeOrazio.
- Huntsville Chamber Music Guild Concert: Sept. 29, Trinity United Methodist Church, 7:30PM. This outstanding performance features Robert McDuffie, Margery McDuffie Whatley and the McDuffie Center for Strings Orchestra.
- Alabama A&M Homecoming Concert: Sept. 30, Propst Arena, 7PM. This concert features Nardo Wick, Lola Brooke and Supahbad.
- The Dirty Doors: Sept. 30, Furniture Factory, 8:30PM. Catch this Doors tribute band as they play live at the Furniture Factory downtown.
- Good Music & Arts Festival: Oct. 1, Big Spring Park, 3PM. Featured this year will be the Huntsville Community Drumline, Wingy Danejah, Chyna Whyte and more.

Alabama A&M’s Homecoming weekend is takes the main stage as far as sporting events go in the Huntsville area this weekend, but there are many more sports and fitness events this weekend to enjoy as well:
- Huntsville High School vs. Mae Jemison: Sept. 29, Milton Frank Stadium, 7PM. Enjoy some Friday Night Lights as the Panthers take on Mae Jemison.
- North Alabama War Dawgs Youth Basketball Camp: Sept. 30, VSI Unlimited, 9AM. The North Alabama War Dawgs have partnered with VSI Unlimited to bring a very special Youth Skills Camp to the city for players 10-17 years old.
- Racin’ the Station Duathlon: Sept. 30, Redstone Arsenal, 7:30AM. “Racin’ the Station” Duathlon is a Run/Bike/Run event where the participants will “race” the International Space Station as it completes one Earth orbit.
- Yoga at MidCity: Sept. 30, MidCity District, 9AM. This free yoga session is led by several amazing instructors from Light on Yoga Fitness.
- Alabama A&M vs. Tuskegee: Sept. 30, Louis Crews Stadium, 2PM. The Bulldogs celebrate Homecoming against Tuskegee.

From farmers markets to comedy shows, the Huntsville area has plenty of cool events this weekend to check out. Here are just a few:
- Skylab 70s Celebration: Sept. 29, U.S. Space & Rocket Center, 7PM. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the history-making Skylab mission with a 1970’s-themed party.
- Matt Matthews: Sept. 29-30, Mars Music Hall, 7PM. Comedian and YouTube sensation Matt Matthews performs two shows this weekend in Huntsville.
- Athens Farmers Market: Sept. 30, 409 Green Street, 8AM. The Athens Farmers Market celebrates the final market of the season Saturday.
- Harvest Fall Festival: Sept. 30, Next Step Farms, 10AM. Fall is in the air, and you can celebrate at Next Step Farms in HArvest from 10AM until 4PM.
- Pooches and Pupkins: Sept. 30, Huntsville Botanical Garden, 12PM. Dress up your pup and come show off your tail-wagging friends at Huntsville Botanical Garden.
