33rd Annual Turkey Trot 5k
Trade the couch for the course! The 33rd Annual Turkey Trot 5K hits the University of Alabama in Huntsville campus on Thanksgiving morning. Fast, chip-timed, and full of costumes. Bring the family, bring your appetite, and start off the holiday season on the right foot. Strollers welcome.
Every registration supports Crisis Services of North Alabama, so your morning miles help neighbors access emergency shelter from domestic violence, evidence collection for sexual assault, and crisis counseling. All free and all confidential, 24/7.
Thursday, November 26, 2026, 8:00 am. Start line at the south end of the Spragins Hall parking lot. Sign up for $30 through November 21, then $35. Waddle you waiting for? Register at RunSignUp, or volunteer here.
Race-morning note: Access to Spragins Hall parking will be closed at Holmes Ave and to the south of the Roberts Hall parking lot.
