UCI 2026 Para-Cycling Road World Championships!

Picture this: More than 400 of the world’s top athletes from 49 countries, all racing to set world records and to qualify for the 2028 Paralympics in Los Angeles – all right here in Huntsville, Ala! And you can be part of the action — the races will be free and open to the public. Come cheer! Bring a cow bell and flags!
For only the 2nd time in the history of Para-Cycling, the UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships will be held in the United States, this time at Cummings Research Park around Explorer Boulevard. The races will be rolling from Sept. 4-7. Sept. 3, 4:30-7:30 p.m. will be training runs. Individual Time Trials (racers going one at a time to beat the clock) will be Sept. 4, 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and Sept. 5, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The exciting group races will be Sept. 6, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Sept. 7, 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
