Gateway Village + 10 other multi-million-dollar building permits in Alabama

This week, 11 building permits were issued in Alabama for projects exceeding $1 million, and four of those permits were for an apartment project in Athens.

Gateway Village, which now is in its latest phase of construction, is slated to be completed in April of 2024.

Birmingham-based Capstone Building Corp has begun construction of Gateway Village, a multi-million dollar luxury apartment project in Athens, Alabama. Designed with the help of architect English & Associates and developer Centerpointe Athens Partners, the 263,351 square-foot Gateway Village will include:

136 single-bedroom apartments
88 two-bedroom apartments
32-three-bedroom apartments
A saltwater pool
Fitness Center
Dog Park
Office Space
