One of the local magnet schools in Huntsville, the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (ASCTE), announced on August 17, 2026, that it received a $250,000 investment from PROJECTXYZ.

This investment will help forward ASCTE’s mission of making sure the next generation is well-versed in all things cyber, engineering and other technical fields.

“An investment in the ASCTE Foundation is ultimately an investment in our students and in what they will go on to accomplish. PROJECTXYZ understands that preparing the next generation of cyber and engineering leaders takes more than what happens in the classroom.”

PeggyLee Wright, President ASCTE Foundation

This is the first financial investment made by PROJECTXYZ to the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering.

ASCTE was created back in 2018, with the first semester of student learning occurring in the fall of 2020. It was the first high school of its kind in the United States when it was opened.

Students enrolled here have the unique opportunity to learn all things cyber and engineering related — all while getting real-world experience that prepares them for college courses and internships.

PROJECTXYZ is a technical solutions company based out of Huntsville, and its CEO is actually a Board of Trustees member for ASCTE.

“At PROJECTXYZ, we see every day how important it is to have talented people who can think critically, solve complex problems and bring new ideas to the table. ASCTE is developing those capabilities in students at an extraordinary point in their lives. We want these students to know there is a place for their passions and talents right here in Huntsville and Alabama.”

Kimberly Lewis, CEO of PROJECTXYZ
