NEW: Lucky Dice Cafe has closed

Lucky Dice Cafe in South Huntsville has unfortunately closed its doors. The local cafe was known for its friendly staff and the ample support they gave their community.

Lucky Dice Cafe

Lucky Dice Cafe, a community staple in the board and card game communities around Huntsville, announced on Monday that it would be closing its doors for good.

On Monday, the owner of Lucky Dice posted an announcement on Facebook:

Dear Lucky Dice Cafe Community,

It is with a mix of emotions that I share the news of Lucky Dice Cafe’s closure. After much reflection and consideration, I’ve decided it’s time for a soft retirement. Running this cafe has been an incredible journey filled with unforgettable memories and cherished connections.

However, the decision to close also comes with a heavy heart. Since the passing of my beloved wife, navigating this journey alone has been challenging. I am immensely grateful for the love and support you’ve all shown me during this time. Your patronage, kind words, and unwavering loyalty have meant the world to me.

As we prepare to say goodbye to Lucky Dice Cafe, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful community and for making Lucky Dice Cafe a special place. Though this chapter may be closing, the memories and friendships forged here will always hold a special place in my heart.
