Rookiez Wingz has a new location on Meridian Street

On Jeff Road and in Hazel Green, you’ll find some juicy chicken wings and southern sides at Rookiez Wingz, a baseball-themed chicken joint founded in 2017.

Now, they’re coming to a more central Huntsville location on Meridian Street. Keep reading to find out what’s on the menu and when they’ll be open.

The grand opening is January 7

On January 7 from 11AM-1PM, Rookiez’s new location will be kicking things off with their grand opening party.

Stop by Hop-In Gas Station on Meridian Street to grab 6 wings for just $2.75—a steal. But there’s more to Rookiez than just wings! They’ll be serving up their Southern sides, fish and Family Kick-Off Specials at their third location.

What’s on the menu

Rookiez serves up wings in all kinds of flavors. We’re eyeing the hot buffalo, honey barbecue, hot lemon pepper and Jamaican jerk.

And we can’t fail to mention the sides. They’ve got Southern classics like fried green tomatoes, potato salad, fried okra and coleslaw. And if you’re extra hungry, grab the Grand Slam Friez with cheese, bacon bits and chopped chicken.
