Horizon Elementary School ranked as the no. 4 best public elementary school in Alabama. (Audrey Johnson / Hville Blast) released their annual elementary school rankings for the best schools across the country, and ten Huntsville-area elementary schools were ranked among the best in Alabama–five public and five private.

Ten Huntsville-area schools were ranked among Alabama’s best high schools, and two Madison middle schools cracked the best Alabama middle schools list. A Madison County elementary School, Mt. Caramel Elementary, won a National Blue Ribbon designation.
