Welcome these 7 new businesses to the Rocket City

This week, we have several new businesses to introduce, with some having just opened and others opening soon.

1. Walk-ons Sports Bistreaux

Town Madison is a fitting location for this new Walk-on’s Sports Bistreaux — a sports bar chain co-owned by NFL legends Drew Brees, Derrick Brooks and others — right next to Toyota Field!

2. Isom’s Orchard

Although this is certainly not a “new” business — folks around here definitely know about Isom’s Orchard — a new building is opening in May, just in time for strawberry season!

3. Lego Store

The wait is over! The new LEGO store is opening in just a few days at Bridge Street (in place of White House Black Market).

4. Food City (Old Gurley Road)

A brand new Food City is opening on Old Gurley Road, the second Food City to open in the last year here in the Huntsville area. This highly anticipated location includes 54,000 square feet of shopping and dining space.

5. Rena’s Homemade Butter Rolls

Many folks in the area are already familiar with Rena’s Homemade Butter Rolls, as the businesses has had a mobile presence for years. A new storefront opened in Meridianville over the weekend.

6. Grain + Berry

Grain & Berry, a leader in health-focused dining, brings their nutritious bowls to Jones Valley. Menu items include acai bowls, smoothies, hand-crafted juices and more.

7. Leidos Advanced Training Complex @ Drake State

Drake State Community & Technical College celebrated the grand opening of the 50,000-square-foot facility on Drake State’s campus, which will support education and training for the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries.
