1. Biergarten

Biergarten at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center is back! Enjoy German cuisine, entertainment and more under the Saturn V at the Davidson Center, starting Thursday, August 4.

3. Craft Beer Trail Fest 2022

Downtown Huntsville, Inc. is partnering with MidCity + some of your favorite local brewers to put on the 3rd annual Craft Beer Trail Fest next month. Find brews from

4. Movie Night in the Hangar

Airplane enthusiasts—and families looking for a night of free entertainment—this one’s for you! Avilution, LLC is partnering with FlyQuest to host a free movie night in an (air-conditioned) airplane hangar. Watch “Living in the Age of Airplanes” with your family, + enjoy snacks from What’s Popp’n.

5. Third Thursdays on Main

We just love Main Street in Madison. Celebrate the great shops by heading out on the third Thursday of the month—and, why not top off the night by stopping in to Old Black Bear for a drink?

7. Leanne Morgan at the VBC

Get ready to laugh until you cry—Leanne Morgan is bringing her “Big Panty Tour” to Huntsville next month, and you don’t want to miss it!

8. Madison Mercantile Outdoor Market

If you’re into local goods, retro and vintage and one-of-a-kind finds, you’ll want to check out this month’s outdoor market hosted by Madison Mercantile. Let us know what treasures you find.

9. Beginner Sushi Class at Straight to Ale

10. Downtown Huntsville Night Market

Downtown Huntsville Inc. hosts a market in Chandelier Alley every month, featuring local artists and vendors and drinks from Phat Sammy’s. Bask in the glow of one of Huntsville’s newest murals while you browse the unique wares all night long.

11. Jack White at the Orion

From Jack White to the Black Keys—the last weekend of August will be full of great music at the Orion. Don’t miss The Black Keys on the Dropout Boogie Tour with Band of Horses and Early James.
