7 Huntsville openings + closings you need to know about—say goodbye to Cookie Dough Magic

Yet again, it’s time to say goodbye to some of your favorite Huntsville spots, while welcoming a handful of new businesses to the fold. Here are the openings and closings you need to know about in Huntsville this week.

1. Cookie Dough Magic

We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but your last chance to get a fresh scoop of cookie dough from Cookie Dough Magic in downtown Huntsville will be Sunday, Oct. 30. The shop is closing its doors at the end of the month, but may be reopening in a different location—their official Facebook announcement only said goodbye “for now…”

2. Rockabilly Bakery + Cafe

Rockabilly Bakery + Cafe will be closing its doors this weekend, but with a caveat—the current owners are looking for a buyer who can keep the business running or start something completely new in its stead. Reach out to the business on Facebook for more information.

A brand new boutique hotel is coming to the City Centre at Big Spring in downtown Huntsville, complete with 100 rooms AND a 15,000-square-foot food hall.
