Randolph School completes new land purchase for campus expansion

Randolph School recently closed on a major land purchase that will expand its high school campus to include the middle and lower schools on one campus.

The 26-acre purchase expands Randolph’s Garth Road campus to 77 acres.

Campus expansion at Randolph School

Randolph School acquired an additional 26 acres of contiguous land, expanding its 51-acre Garth Road campus. Currently, Randolph’s lower and middle schools are located on Deake Avenue, but with this real estate acquisition, the campuses can unite at the same location.

Founded in 1959, Randolph School opened as an elementary school operated out of a home on Randolph Avenue (hence its name) before moving to the Drake Avenue campus — where the middle school and lower school currently are today .

The Garth Road campus opened in 2009, housing the high school classes. This new land purchase will unite all three schools on one campus.

All three schools at Randolph were recently listed among the best in Alabama by Niche.com.
