UPDATE: When to watch for new openings in Town Madison
Reading time: 2 minutes
Town Madison has been booming over the past several months, with spots like J. Alexander’s, The Yard, Prohibition and SaZa opening up. But the food scene there isn’t complete yet.
Here’s some updates on when five more restaurants are expected to open in Town Madison. Let’s dig in!
This year
Two new spots are set to open this year.
Starbucks is expected to open in February or March and will be located at 102 Outfield Drive. This location will have a dual-lane drive-thru as well as a covered patio.
Cava—a quick-service Mediterranean restaurant—is expected to open sometime in the next few months. Town Madison will be Cava’s second location in North Alabama, with the other already open on Whitesburg Drive. The new location will be located next-door to Starbucks at 101 Outfield Drive.
Next year and beyond
Next year, it’s looking like we’ll see another two eateries open up, as well as another one in 2025.
Edgar’s third North Alabama location will be in Town Madison and is expected to open mid-2024. There’s already one location on Airport Road and another in Providence serving up their famous cakes and lunch items.
Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux—a sports bar with a giant menu featuring Cajun staples—is expected to open toward the end of 2024. This is the second location planned for Madison, with the other being at Clift Farm.
Beyond next year, there’s a new Mexican spot planned for an opening in 2025. Lola’s Cocina, a sister restaurant to Phil Sandoval’s, will be serving up fast-casual Mexican food favorites near Super Chix and Five Guys.
